General Information Meeting

Feb 2 2010 5:00 pm

To kick off this semester's CEACC activities, we will have an informational
meeting in Carpenter 312 at 5pm on Tuesday, 2 February 2010.

During the informational meeting we'll discuss and vote on the proposed
Constitutional Amendment, go over the procedure for presenting at the
Funding Appropriations Meeting, and the schedule for the remainder of the
semester.

College of Engineering and Architecture Stats:
• Engineering junior and senior enrollment up 98%
• Engineering women enrollment up 86% and 132 certified majors
• Engineering minorities enrollment up 93%
• #1 College in University for enrollment
• #1 for transfer students
• 11.7% budget cut to deal with = 1.59 million dollars in cuts
• New program developing in Bremerton at Olympic College for Mechanical Engineering. Two years will be done in Bremerton and labs in the Summer in Pullman.
• New group: Electrothon (electric car club)  soon to be a CEACC member
