Fall Funding Appropriations Meeting
The purpose of this meeting is to distribute the CEACC funds for the Fall 2009 semester among our member clubs. Clubs which have submitted an accepted funding proposal will be given 10 minutes to present their proposal and answer any questions. Because of the democratic goals of CEACC, the final budget must be voted on by the entire CEACC member body.
In preparing the proposal funding presentation, clubs are encouraged to cover the following:
How the club intends to utilize the funding requested
Why the event/ competition/ activity is beneficial to their club and to the college as a whole
How the club has demonstrated its commitment to CEA through service to the college and attendance at CEACC events
How the level of activity of the club demonstrates the club members commitment to their club
If the club has been able to secure matching funding sources to demonstrate the clubs commitment to the event by disproving reliance on CEACC as a singular funding source.
How the funding will improve the education of their members (or why the denial of funding will harm their members)
As a guideline for the proposal presentation, club presenters are encouraged to limit the content of their presentation to 6 minutes and reserve 4 minutes for questions.
